There's a spot near my workplace called Bite that serves an excellent beverage by the name of Iced Chocolate. It was just a rich chocolate beverage filled to the brim with ice cubes. It's damn good. Looking to see what the secret was, it was tricky to see how exactly they make it, but it involves two packets of Swiss Miss brand hot chocolate packets.

When opening up my recent package (a japanese thinkpad usb keyboard, don't ask) I noticed that printed on the inside of the cardboard box was "Thank you for using Priority Mail" and my first impression was "what a waste of money, printing on the INSIDE of the box, who's going to see that".

Of course the "duh" hit me quickly. They printed on the inside so that folks don't turn it inside out and re-use the free packaging provided by USPS with other shipping ...

When you live in the city, sometimes its the most convenient way to get around. NYC has great public transit: It's generally clean. Delays aren't that bad. The homeless folks usually stick to loud speeches about their misfortune instead of attacking you.
