Okay. Today I found out I could preorder the Trilogy Edition of God Of War 3 (The Ultimate Edition + God Of War 1 and 2 Remastered in HD etc....) at my Games Store. So I go to the website of the store and I see "God Of War Special Edition" and next to that "SOLD OUT". But that's not what this rant is about, it isn't the Trilogy Edition we're talking about here, it's the Special Edition, wich is:
- The game itself
- Digipack packaging
- In-game DLC - God of War Combat Arena with 7 challenges and 2 character skins
- Artwork cards

I had already Pre-Ordered God Of War 3 some time ago and becouse the games store is pretty cool, they removed my preorder of God Of War 3 and automatically placed it on the God Of War 3 Special Edition. Okay, that's cool of them, I must admit. But the reason I'm ranting is becouse of the price tag of the Trilogy Edition.

In America, the Ultimate Edition costs 99.99 U.S. Dollars at most (I think).
In Belgium (Europe?), the Trilogy Edition will cost around 120 Euros (Again, I think).
99.99 U.S. Dollars is 68.9158453 Euros. For good, new games (By this I mean "popular" and new games) we pay around 69,99 euros.

That is why I'm ranting, people in the U.S. pay the same price for a big Box Of Pandora filled with stuff as I pay for a good and new game in Belgium.

Now I know there's 1 thing I "missed", In the U.S. the Ultimate Edition doesn't include the God Of War Collection (And again, I think :p), but let's convert the price to U.S. Dollars.

120 Euros is 174.10800 U.S. Dollars.
I don't think the God Of War Collection costs 74.20800 U.S. Dollars, does it? (No, really, does it?)
