It seems only fitting that my very first blog post should centre around a creature that has become synonymous with my online gaming identity. It is a creature that spans back almost three full decades, first featuring in one of the most popular games in video gaming history; Super Mario Bros. Everybody recognizes the creature as their first deadly encounter within the game, most of whom probably died during that first encounter on their first play-through - "Wait, there's a jump button?"
