Around 3 hours ago I had to wake up, since the ground in front of my house was going down(the dirt, not the house itself but we couldn't step outside (they were working there for the sewer pipes. Now they even hit the electricity cables. But as you can see they fixed that but there are still problems, I even had to go to the neighbours for 2.5 hours since we couldn't go through the front door, so we had to climb over the garden wall to the neighbours their garden, Jeez police and all that gibberish.:msigh:

I actually had to go to school, I might not be able to go. But we'll see what happens.

As we all know it is the 9th Anni of the 9/11 attacks soon, and a newspaper showed me a website which is an online museum about the WTC and the 9/11 attacks.

It's a very interesting read, and give a significant reminder to the horrible things which happened on that day in New York.

But we also need to remember that the Pentagon and Flight 93 which hit the ground were also involved.

New GameOn Forum Moderator Consideration Thread

So the forums are getting way busier, which is awesome, but it also means we need more forum leaders to guide new members, encourage good content, and keep things active in all the sections.

Do you think you'd be a good mod? I've asked existing mods to nominate people for Modship for certain sections, and here's what I've asked them to look for:

- active members: if you're going to be a mod, you should be around pretty often, amirite?
- motivation - you're motivated to keep the forums active, keep people coming back to the section you help manage, and you contribute to helping the forums grow overall!
- intelligence n' grammar - technically separate, but good grammar generally improves the perception of smartsyness. not a real word. being a staff member means you should probably talk in full sentences from time to time, you think you out your responses well, and your thread titles generally are descriptive. and all that good stuff. you gotta make us look good and make up for my lack of grammar skillz.
- understanding and kindness - you're just a generally nice person. its ok if you are a little abrasive here and there in a playful way of course. you enjoy helping people and you're patient with getting folks on track. taming trolls is a very valuable skill.

REMEMBER TO SPECIFY WHICH SECTION YOU THINK YOU'D BE AWESOME AT IMPROVING AS MOD.

We expect a lot from moderators (and we'll actually be removing some inactive mods soon if there are any=P ) so before you post why you should be considered, please take this seriously. It's a lot of work... although very rewarding when you see your section become more active.

And don't be hurt if you're not selected, I'd say there are over 100 people who would instantly make GREAT staff members.. but having too many too quickly can make things messy. Sometimes we just have to close our eyes and pick, ya know? So don't take it personally. If you're awesome and you excel at all the above things we're looking for, it's very possible you'll be welcomed onto the team at some point in the future.

Every time I have gone to a flea market, there has been a load of strange stuff that I've seen one after the other. For me, it has to be someone trying to sell a chihuahua for $250. What the ****? Whenever I see dogs at these places, people have them as pets. I don't know what those people were thinking.
