Ok this is taken from the callofduty.com website so im jus copyin it word for word
I went Easter Egg Hunting in Der Riese and found maybe every single Easter Egg. I think that the story behind Nazi Zombies has been revealed...
The first one is at the main frame. Right next to the stairs that lead to a window, there's a phone of some sorts. Activate it, and you'll hear a man giving a zombie commands. The zombie prepares to attack him and another scientist kills it. The man asks for another test subject.
The second one is in the area at the right (facing the clock). After you open the second door, run to the furnace. When you have the Monkey-Bomb, throw one in there. You will hear a little girl talking, (I'm not quite sure what she says, but it has something to do with the monkey wanting to play).
The third one is near the teleporter on the left (facing the clock). It's in a furnace. Upon activation, you hear a dog barking. The man (same guy from the first egg) orders that it is strapped down. He then tells his workers to activate something. They realize that the dog has disappeared.
The fourth one is near the teleporter on the right (facing the clock). It's in the room right before it, in a corner. Upon activation, you hear the same man. He sounds like he is frustrated, mentioning that the test subjects do not follow commands. One of his workers talks to him, telling him to stop with this project. His worker also says his name: Dr. Maxine. Dr. Maxine shouts at his worker, telling him to recaliberate the system.
The fivth Easter Egg is near the teleporter on the opposite side of the map (opposite of the mainframe). With this one, you hear Dr. Maxine shouting in frustration (I forgot what he says). You then hear a little girl's voice. Dr. Maxine tells his daughter, Sophia, to leave immedietly. Sophia then asks why "those men are acting weird". You hear zombies and hellhounds at this point. Dr. Maxine, Sophia, and some workers are heard screaming.
The sixth Easter Egg is the flytrap. It is found one the left side (facing the clock). Open one door, walk to the window, scope your PTRS, and shoot the control panel. You'll see a Monkey-Bomb, a molotov, a bowie knife, and a teddy bear fly into the air and scatter. This activates a mini-game where you have to find the teddy bears and the Monkey-Bomb. You get nothing for finding the bears and bomb, but you do get ELEVATE YOUR SENSES by shooting the control panel.
The final Easter Egg is found near the teleporter on the opposite side of the map (opposite of the mainframe). This is technically the first transmission, but make sure it's the last, everything will make more sense. It's in the tunnel that Nikolai dies in. When you activate it, you will hear Dr. Maxine.
Dr. Maxine addresses that there is not enough funding being put in the Die Glocke project. He also says in the next few years, The Wunderwaffe DG-2 is expeted to be mass-produced. He mentions that there is not enough element 115 to do so. He says that the Americans told him that they have a large amount of 115 in Nevada. He ends it with request for bigger funding, and less pressure.
With that, let us confirm everything from Verruckt and Shi No Numa that connects to Der Riese.
Hands and Hangmen
We all know that there is a severed hand on the power switch in Verruckt. Der Riese also has a severed hand on the power switch. The Verruckt hand belongs to the Shi No Numa hangman, and the Der Riese hand belongs to the Der Riese hangman (I have not personally seen the Der Riese hangman, but my friend has).
The Shi No Numa hangman is Peter. That is a fact. Why else would the transmission be sent to Shi No Numa, but for Peter's ears? As for the Der Riese hangman: that is the person who tried to contact Peter.
Element 115
Element 115 has 184 nuetrons, which is considered a magic number in physics. 115 is a VERY unstable element.
115 came from the Shi No Numa meteor. 115 apparently powers The Wunderwaffe, the electric defenses, and gives the zombies and hellhounds life. 115 is also apparently in a storage area in Nevada. There isn't much more that can be said.
Dr. Richtofen
We all know that Richtofen created the DG-2 and discovered 115 and/or experimented with it. The person who sent the transmission says "...find Dr. Richtofen and Dr. Maxine; they may know what's going on..."
The person is right. They do know what's going on. How? They created the zombies and the hellhounds.
First off, why else would Richtofen call the zombies his minions? Second, if you listened to the fourth Easter Egg, you know that the zombies and hellhounds are a "project". This is further proven with the final Easter Egg. Also, Hitler was said to have attempted to reanimate fallen soldiers. He failed.
The zombies and hellhounds are legitimate creations.
The random weapon box and the teddy bear
It is said that Richtofen has a lot of stuffed animals. This could mean that he created the random weapon box.
Dr. Maxine's daughter, Sophia, sounds exactly like the little girl you hear laughing with the teddy bear. This could mean that Dr. Maxine and Dr. Richtofen were good friends, and that Richtofen apparently gave Sophia a teddy bear (one that's not mutilated :]). Sophia is also the voice that you hear when you throw a Monkey Bomb in the furnace, and when you activate the fly trap, the only difference being the demonic overtone.
A little funfact about the random weapon box. In the warning room in Shi No Numa, there are a lot of boxes taht look just like the random weapon box. You can also find these boxes in the multiplayer map known as Banzai.
Area 51
Area 51 wasn't put into commision until 1950. This eliminates all speculations of Area 51 having anything to do with Nazi Zombies.
But take a look at this.
Die Glocke
Near the end of this article, it is said that Die Glocke could bend space. You bend space, you bend time. You bend time, you can travel through it.
My speculation of the story.
In 1901, a meteor named Tunguska crashed in Russia. This is the Shi No Numa meteor, and the German's source of 115. The American's source of 115 comes from the meteor that exploded over Pennsylvania in 1938. The German's took samples of 115 and used it on the bodies of dead soldiers and dogs. A lot of the scientists were doctors who worked at the Wittinau Sanitorium (Verruckt). Die Glocke gave off a lot of radiation when powered. These doctors, unaware that they've been affected by radiation, work at Wittinau, unknowingly passing the radiation on to the people in the Asylum. Everyone in the Asylum at that time became a zombie. US Marines were sent to investigate, but they were overrun, and killed. After realising that The Marines failed, the Germans used 115 to create The Wunderwaffe DG-2. During the creation of the DG-2, a zombie outbreak began in Der Riese. Richtofen took the DG-2 with him to Shi No Numa, to finish it. He also took the Tunguska meteor. The radiation from the meteor caused yet another zombie outbreak. Dempsey, Takeo, and Nikolai where sent to Shi No Numa to investigate. They met with Dr. Richtofen, and they teamed up against the Imperial Zombies. Upon hearing the transmission that was sent to Peter, they realised that they needed to leave Shi No Numa immedietly, and head to Der Riese. Now, Dempsey, Nikolai, Takeo, and Richtofen, fight for their lives in Der Riese, and attempt to find out exactly what's going on.
As for Nacht Der Untoten, that could take place anywhere at anytime...
That's what I think the story of Nazi Zombies is. Discuss.

This is known as the telixion theory over on wethegamerz.com, a group of guys started investigating all the easter eggs and notes written on the walls of shi no numa and verructk, now they have done Der Riese. Its a good read and interesting also type telixion theory in youtube al the videos are there

From this day to the ending of the world,But we in it shall be remember'd;
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers.
What is mentioned here seems about right, but it does leave open the question of Area 51. If there is another zombie map (doubt it, but you never know), it would probably take place there. I also wish I knew how Dempsey, Takeo, Nikolai and Richtofen met together. They were on opposing factions, unless their respective governments sent them to gather information and they just teamed up and formed an alliance.
The teddy's name is Fluffy and Sophia was killed while dr Maxine was experimenting with the zombies/teleporters.
The assistant to dr Maxine sounds a lot like dr richtofer but is called by another name in the transmissions. The hanging man in SHI NO NUMA has been confirmed to be peter by a member of treyarch who's created this back story.
Also the song easter egg to do it you activate all 3 glowing tubes with brains/spinal cord attached
ALSO i believe there isn't going to be anymore map packs according to treyarch they said this will conclude the map pack support for world at war. I think they should just release zombie maps

At the begining of the game there are draines or whatever they are but one of them has a peace of paper in it. It has funky lettering on it.
very interesting, I never knew nazi zombies ad this whole elaborate story behind it :/
In Call of Duty WaW on Der Riese i was looking around and possibly found a new easter egg. if you go on the roof where the double tap perk is there is a vent or air duct there, if you crouch by the little hole in the air vent and look in there seems to be a book inside on the wall. not sure what its purpose is, i imagine if you had the sniper rifle you could read it since it is an open book but i haven't gotten the sniper yet to check.
There are Six Radios. The one near mainfriame, next door to telleporter b, shelf near telleporter c, down in the tunnel under quick revive, on the cieling near the door and box in hallway leading to telleporter A and in the furnace in telleporter a. The one on the Cieling explains the Hellhounds. Maxis's daughters name is Sammantha. He gives her a dog, she later calls fluffy, she was going to have puppy's. The book in the vent is a guide. It talks about in case of a situation use your death pill, if in the event of loosing the pill there are other means to complete the same task. There are some bullenten boards in some parts of the map, hold X near them(360) and the character should say something. Dr. Richtofen did not make the Waffle, though he may have conducted experiments with 115 at the asylum. I never thought to put the monkey in the fire, creepy. The Handman is in the blown out building look at the fire exit by Telleporter B room. All you can see is his legs but odd that when you shoot him, cotton flys out. I discovered something strange. If you look at the moon with a PTRS you can see five red dots, four in a circle with the fifth in the middle.
Here's another easter egg from Der Riese:
Go to the room upstairs near teleporter B (the room with the green jar).
There is a calendar on the wall that has four dates circled with question marks beside them.
The four dates are the 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th.
These dates are the same as the Thursdays in September, so there is speculation that a possible 4th map pack will be released on one of these days next month (the previous map packs were all released on Thursdays).
You're missing a radio, it's at the teleporter with the 2 big silo looking things near it. The radio is on the ladder to the left (if you're looking at the teleporter) on the silo type thing (you'll know it if you see a dead man's legs sticking out of the grate)
"Sniping is like hunting any other animal. Fire at the wrong moment and your chance will be forever lost. Patience! If we reveal our position, this fountain will be our grave." - Sgt. Resnov
[All Weapons INF in RE5, Woot]
Shuma-Gorath pities the foo.
After reading the speculation story and gathering my own info this is what I think the story goes as
(Note: Nacht Der Untoten, does not count as it has officially been considered non-canon and is a zombie training map)
My speculation of the story.
In 1901, a meteor named Tunguska crashed in Russia. This is the Shi No Numa meteor, and the German's source of element 115 (Ununpentium: an element mainly founded in meteorites). The American's source of 115 comes from the meteor that exploded over Pennsylvania in 1938.
The American's meteor was taken to then founded Area 51 for further study and containment while the Germans took what they could and headed to Verruckt and Der Riese to study and test it. In Verruckt, it was exposed to the patients to test it out, the patients died and the radiation from the element caused zombies who in turn killed everyone at the asylum.
In Der Reise, Dr. Richtofen and Dr. Maxis had ran out of the element and due to an American betrayal gained more from the American meteor. Using what was given to them Dr. Maxis and Dr. Richtofen created teleporters, the WunderWaffe and (thanks to the radiation) zombies.
Back over in Verruckt 4 American Marines were sent to the asylum to see if there were any survivors that needed to be saved, when they got near the building they discovered the surrounding area was on fire and that there were zombies, they ran into the building and barricaded themselves in the hopes they would survive, they didn't.. the last one sent a message to a man named Peter who informs him that Verruckt has been overran and the project was moved to Shi No Numa and to find Dr. Maxis and Richtofen, sounds of zombies getting to him can be heard in the background.
Back in Der Riese, Dr. Maxis has been experimenting with the zombies, trying to turn them into obediant super soldiers, his daughter Samantha comes in and asks what is going on, she is pushed out by a man named Edward at Maxis' wishes. Later on Maxis goes to comfort his daughter who is playing with her teddy bear and he gives her a dog which she names "Fluffy". During an experiment with the element 115, Fluffy gets radiation poisoning without Maxis knowing.
In Shi No Numa, we meet Tank Dempsey, Nikolai Belinsky and Takeo Masaki who have somehow found themselves at the swamp and have put aside their differences to fight the zombies, during the fight they discover a mad Dr. Richtofen and his weapon the WunderWaffle, they band together to survive, and in doing so also find the Tunguska Meteor which Richtofen accidentally mutters its where the Shi No Numa crew was getting their 115, and while exploring they find a radio that calls for help over in Der Riese which is where they go next.
Back in Der Riese (past) Dr. Maxis and Edward get into an argument over the experiments and mutters something about Shi No Numa and the Waffle, Edward is also starting to go mad from the experiments and in his insanity world he locks Dr. Maxis and Samantha in a room with Fluffy who has become a hellhound, before they are killed Sam tells her father one thing.. Fluffy is going to have puppies.
Now all 4 of our heroes are in Der Reise to find out what has happened, the zombies have overrun the facility and through a series of events Richtofen begins to say how he and Maxis created everything in Der Riese with element 115 and that he may be the one that killed Sam and Dr. Maxis (he yells as he kills zombies "Ed vants your head).
Well thats my story and I'm sticking to it, my info comes from both the official call of duty wikia and here. My opinions on the demonic voice are most likely Sams as she seems to haunt Der Riese, using her teddy bear as a connection and when the voice demanding the dogs to get the souls of the heroes is most likely her ordering Fluffy and her puppies to kill.
Annoying Swiftor since August 2008
Swift shouldn't play games that make him mad, he'll wind up pulling out his hair.... oh waitWho's trolling jigsauce? ~Swiftor
I can't find the Radio thats supposed to be in the Room with those Silos, I can only find the on near the door that leads in. Anyway I translated that Bulleten Board, the newspaper (And this is a Ruff translation.) Says. "The Bees Disapeared from Lugwigs Village." Lugwig Village was a Consintration Camp. The Board in Telleporter C says something about sticking to the plan. the note at the buttom right says The Bell is Mobile. And sinces parts of the words are hard to tell, the warning plate near Juggs says. Children unetended will be handed to the Circus." Those Symbols in the Storm Drain. I saw some of those symbols somewhere else in the map. On the wall by the hangman, I know the meaning of four. Cricle with Cross in it is Earth, the one with the line is water, the one in with a dot is air and the plane circle is fire.
All this started with Der Riese. Maxis and his daughter are the reason for the Zombies, Hellhounds, the Match Bonuses and whenever that damn teddy bear pops up. We are being haunted. Edward Vodon, or Oden or something like that is the one who locked Maxis and his daughter in the telleporter with the hellhound that was once fluffy. Where he is or what has happened to him, we don't know but I'm sure will be explained in the next map
I think the next Map will be Area 51. Beside the Radio under Quick Revive mentions it but because of the Ray Guns and how there are four in the second level and how all four players can have one in the Zombie Maps. Now this isn't off Topic, but Modern Warfare 2 will have a simular Mode apparantly called Alien Terrorists. I think there will be a connection between Nazi Zombies and Alien Terrorists.![]()
Wow, didn't know there was a story behind COWaW
Tunguska is in Russia. shi no numa is in japan... so... yeah. ever try moving a meteor? And WHY would they just drop it into the swamp? Also, the dead guy on the radio, the one that radios Peter at shi no numa, might be the guy hanging. But who is the dead guy in the vat then? I also think there will be a Tunguska map, and Los Alamos map. consider, you have one for the Japanese once they started the characters, and a German one, it would make sense and $$$ (which makes the world go round) to have a Russian location ( Tunguska) and an American one too (Los Alamos). I just think they have put too much time into this story, and it is obviously not finished yet.![]()
VERY interesting finds.
Hudda hudd, mmhphh, mmffphh!
i don't care about the back story i just wanna kill the zombies![]()
R.I.P.
i know for a fact that the map shi no numa that one of the radios give you coordinates. when you put these in google maps, they send you directly to area 51. there also giving info that there will be another map pack, so i think area 51's gonna be the next map pack.
