Thread: New Final Fantasy XIII Trailer

Looks pretty good. But is it going to be like FF12? or is it gonna be like FF3? And yes, english would be nice.

Looks like there's a good plot. But like all FF, you gotta keep up with the plot. Ya it looks like the gameplay has the same element as FF12. It looks like it's in the future of FF12, im guessing maybe 3000 years ahead of FF12. It looks like there's some very exciting new additions to what you can use in the game. It kinda looks like chocobos have been taken out of the game

Ya this game looks like it's worth buying. Good everything as far as I can tell.

I dunno, they'll probably still have chocobos. In the new GI, it shows a screenshot of a big grass land area, so there's definitely still hope for them to show up somewhere.

Some of that stuff was in the recent American trailer, so you can kind of figure out some of that I guess. The black haired girl is Fang (Oerba Yun) and she is indeed playable, she was shown a little bit in the other trailer, sporting an "interesting" accent. From what I can tell about the plot after looking through the magazine article..

People with those tattoos are called I'Cie. People with this distinction can summon the creatures Eidolons (Shiva, Bahamut, etc). Once marked, they must fulfill some random destiny (specific to each person) within a certain amount of time, or they die and become a monster. The bad guy army wants to rid Cocoon of these individuals since they think they pose a threat to their world...and most/all of the party members seem to be I'Cie. So far, I already understand this plot 10x more than I understood FFXII's and I actually played through that one.

Omg I just can't wait for the game to come out already... UGH MARCH NEEDS TO COME HERE NOW!
