Quick review of some games i played on justin.tv (part 1)
Operation Wolf (SMS) - 4/10
(I couldn't play it on pc, but it looks a challenge for hardcore gamers, like that kind of shooters (read Time Crisis). Looks very similar to the arcade, but with smaller enemies of course
Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence (Ps2). 10/10.
Each new chapter of the franchise, apart from being another masterpiece, brings evolution and fresh new ideas to it
Phantasy Star Online. (Dreamcast, Gamecube, Xbox, PC): 9/10
The best online rpg option you have, it's like a pes to the soccer, though some of you may like fifa more instead. It was and somehow it's still free to play. This was maybe the best reason to get a dreamcast instead of ps2 in his day, due to the multiplayer stuff, much funnier and harder (in the first months) than the offline mode. Its success made life to different versions, ports and episodes, even today, almost a decade later (phantasy star Zero). The only downside is: you guessed it. This game was a paradise for hackers, even to the point of turning your own dreamcast almost to oblivion, but today the hackers are actually only modding the game, and being quite legit and safe with it
Carom 3d and pes (PC): (8/10 each)
They have some flags, but maybe they are the most funny option of the sport they represent
Zelda 2: The adventure of Link (Nes). 6/10
It's a "Link" adventure between rpg, action and platforming, but you will die a lot for not controlling the jumps well, and you must do loads of them in a single screen. 3 deaths and you'll return to the starting point, but keeping the items you gained. So, practice
Chase HQ. (Nes). 7/10
Wonderful. Good game for the casual gamers, because of short play time session even with the continues, and addictive, but not to replay it very often. Good game for the hardcore gamers too, because it will prove to be a challenge that even cheats on you with the time limit and the distance of the enemy car, just for example. Still, this is a game you gotta check it out at least once. You'll like even the game over screen
