Thread: Modern Warfare 2 Sniper Tourny

Hello all! This Saturday, 11/21/09, my good friend Brian.. aka PSN: Bigghettogerman, will be hosting a sniper tournament, with his friend Blazgriz to see who the Best Sniper on PS3 MW2 is!!!!!!
Either leave a comment with your PSN, NOT GAMERTAG!, or send Bigghettogerman a friend request with a message of "I want to join the tournament".
The tournament will take place around 1-1:30ish, so bring your sniper and your A-Game!

They will be games of 1v1 elimination, where the losers fight the losers and the winners fight the winners.

If someone can either record it and put it on youtube, or stream it to justin.tv for all the lovely people to see, that would be fantastic. I don't have recording software..or hardware.. or anything to use, and i don't want to bother my friend for his crappy dazzle. So please, can someone be the camera guy? (Who knows how to correctly spectate the match.. 'cause i sure as hell dont.)

For any additional information, please contact Brian at his PSN or me at Maffleman.. He and I are currently working on figuring this out.

We'd have to figure out a way for me to do this though, without ...

A: Being targeted all the time .. lol.
and
B: Not giving away everyones position like an ass hat.

Still though, I would LOVE to try and do something like this.
Virtual camera-man intrigues the bejeezuz outta' me!

Question, how are we doing this, is it just all sniper match, no scoping or what?

We are planning on making it a two day event (not sure why.. but we're still working it out). The matches will probably be no-scope only, although we may throw in some scoping fights also.
They are 1v1s, and everyone else chooses spectator

Simple, spectate and go into different view modes to get the best capture possible.

I thought this was a sniping tournament, not a no-scope tournament.

Yeah ... I forgot about "spectating" ... deeer!

And coincidentally, I'm doing a re-launch of my FPC "franchise", and opening up [odd enough] with an all night MW2 session SAT night.

I might be able to do it, though I stink at sniping. As soon as more details are finalized, I might join, but it all comes down to what events you guys have planned.

I'll come out and admit my idiocy. = [

I got excited to do this and didn't even pay attention that this was for PS3 ..
*sigh* I don't HAVE this for PS3, only 360. I guess I'm just used to most of my friends being 360 users ... and not used to being around so many with PS3's.

So, I won't be able to do this [UNLESS I can get my hands on a rental ...].

OMG, I feel so crusty, I'm really sorry for getting you hyped up, like I said,
pure my fault for not reading close enough at the time. I just thought today ..
"What if .... this was for PS3?!"
And, there goes my luck again, it was.
