My team worked its butt off as well. 4 of the 7 members present were champions for some of their events. Let's see if I can remember how everyone did... One of the two seniors got first in discus, first in high jump, and first in the 4x400 relay. That same senior was on the 4x100 relay, but that team got disqualifed due to a bad handoff. I'm very excited for it this year, too.I'm going for Triple Jump, Long Jump, and the 300 meter Hurdles. There is only going to be 7 girls representing my team, but my coach is very sure of the fact that we will win State again this year. We won last year with a little less than 10 as well. We're going to stay in a hotel near where the state track meet will be and will leave for the state track meet early in the morning. Except this year I am going for not one, but three different track events! I had my Sectionals track meet two days ago and have qualified for all three of my events. My events are Long Jump, Triple Jump, and the 300 meter Hurdles. I got first place for Triple Jump and my parents found a newspaper article that even mentioned me!It highlighted one of the girls on our team and then mentioned the other girls who placed first in certain events.

I had another track meet last night and got a new personal record for the 300 meter Hurdles! I finally got to 48 seconds!!! My exact time is 48.64 and I'm very excited to have beaten my previous record by 2 seconds.
Also, one my track team members had a brave moment I guess you could say. He was doing the 300 meter Hurdles, tripped over a hurdle, and twisted his hip pretty badly. He
I've been unable to continue to work on Part 2 of my 200th blog post celebration due to tests in school and my track season. I will finish it during my Spring Break which starts this Friday. I will possibly be able to cover all of it during the Spring Break as well.
Like the title says, Happy Easter! My family only celebrates the egg-hunting and candy-eating part of Easter. In order to celebrate the egg-hunting part, my parents will hide eggs, filled with candy, in my siblings' rooms
